History and People
The company was established in 2003, quickly gathering a reputation for reliability and professionalism amongst blue chip clients such as the UK Ministry of Defence, QinetiQ, Royal Air Force, Finmeccanica and Mass Consultants.
In 2006 Muretex hosted a conference attracting speakers and delegates from the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe with research interests in autonomy. The conference aim was to provide a multi-disciplinary forum for discussing autonomy. We successfully enabled a unique exchange of information between attendees from a diverse range of professions, including those from the aerospace, automotive and mining industries and medicine.
Muretex employs talented, highly qualified engineers and scientists, with long experience obtained from work in the military, civilian and defence domains. Muretex consutants have been: widely published, have spoken at conferences and delivered part of a NATO lecture series, currently chair a European Research forum (GARTEUR), an invited panel member of the Association of Unmanned Systems International (AUVSI) Program Review. All team members maintain membership of organisations such as the Royal Aeronautical Society, the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Institution of Measurement and Control, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, AUVSI and the American Helicopter Society.
As a result, each Muretex consultant offers not only technical expertise but first-hand experience of programme leadership, solution development and team-building and we maintain a global network of contacts.
